I think the reason why you are fascinated with criminals is because they are not scared about being selfish. Would you say that’s true?

Not really. My understanding of a criminal is that he is a child who refuses to grow up. When we are born, we all pretty much think that we are the centre of the universe because of the attention everyone gives us. With time, we slowly realise that we are just one among the millions and adapt to our designated place in society and revolve along with the world — whereas a criminal still wants the world to revolve around him.

Why are most of your male protagonists atheists?
Because they are my alter egos.

Your Satya 2 sounds promising. I hope it won’t lose anything between idea and execution.

How do you like the title Ramgopal Varma ka Attacks?
As much as anybody would like your stupid sense of humour.
