They say it again and again

Katrina Kaif:
Salman Khan and she have no issues. Ranbir Kapoor, yeah, she concedes is a wonderful co-star and good friend. Shudder. And she really, really wants to work with all the Khans. Who doesn’t? Accessible only on the eve of her film’s release or if her apartment is devastated by bad plumbing, leading to water flooding. It often is.

Kareena Kapoor:
Once a feisty talker, today her mission is to convey that she will continue to act (yaaay!). Saif Ali Khan doesn’t even know the movies she’s signed up, and mum-in-law Sharmila Tagore is extremely fond of her, and vice versa. If Sanjay Leela Bhansali dropped her from Ram Leela, big deal! His loss. For months, she raved about Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine. Now that it has bombed, mum’s the word. Oh yes, and there’s always that must-say, “I admire my sister Karisma. I look up to her.” She should.

Shahid Kapur:
Goes on and on about being unemployed. Months were wasted because he dropped out… or was dropped… from a project being produced by Yashraj.
Wishes happiness to all the heroines connected with him in the past, isn’t saying a word on Vidya Balan’s marriage though. Not likely to be invited to the wedding party.

Salman Khan:
Till Dabangg 2 is released and makes crores and crores, it’s all about brother Arbaaz, Arbaaz, Arbaaz. He’s done a great job as a director. Abhinav Kashyap, director of the first Dabangg was a cool guy, but… he gave some unpleasant interviews... then they talked on the cell... no dice. Let’s just see D2, bhai. Oops he doesn’t like to be called bhai except by his brothers. Sorry Salman sir.

Shah Rukh Khan:
Talks like his mellow tweets nowadays, mending his image as a motor-mouth.

Ameesha Patel:
Her mantra is, “I’m hot, hot, hot and happening.” Call the fire brigade, guys.

And last but not the least, Aamir khan: There were no creative differences with Reema Kagti director of Talaash. Terrific, but after seeing the film, differences might have helped.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
