The national camp for the Nehru Cup will begin from Wednesday at the Jaypee Greens Atlantis in Greater Noida. Officials from the All India Football Federation met at Football House here in Delhi and finalised the venue after consultations with national coach Wim Koevermans

“The All India Football Federation has never compromised when it comes to providing facilities to its footballers. Koevermans had inspected the facilities himself and as the campus provides excellent facilities which are conducive for good football, we felt it best to organise our camp in India’s finest international standards sporting arena at the Jaypee Greens Greater Noida,” federation general secretary Kushal Das said in a statement.
“We are also looking at a long term association with them for future national team camps,” Das added.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
