Mumbai FC held defending champions Churchill Brothers to a goalless draw in their I-League round 25 tie at the Cooperage here on Monday.

th the point Mumbai remain static at 13th on the league table, and still in the drop zone. The club are level with Lajong FC, but the Shillong-outfit have a superior goal difference. Churchill moved into second position, a point ahead of third placed Mahindra United with two games in hand.
The local outfit started with more impetus put the ball into the back of net in the 6th minute, however the referee disallowed Peter Siddique’s header off a corner as he fouled a Churchill Brothers defender.
Churchill Brothers captain Odafe Okolie had a chance on the half-hour mark but Mumbai FC goalkeeper A.C. Nidhinlal denied the Nigerian. The second half was a carbon copy of the first as neither side was able to seize the initiative. With time winding down, Odafe was given the marching orders after picking up his second yellow card.
