Collegians hammer Friends Utd

Collegians Club rode on Gaurav Gosain’s hat-trick to beat Friends United 4-0 in a Group B league match of the DLF-ONGC-SAIL Delhi Soccer Association annual A division championship at the Commonwealth Games sports complex in the capital on Monday.

Gosain scored in the 8th, 9th and 23rd minutes while Raghav completed the rout in the 40th minute.
Both teams have five points from four matches each.
In other Group B matches, Ajmal Club pipped Uttranchal Heroes 1-0. Pankaj Mehta scored the winner in the 17th minute. Ajmal have six points from four matches while Uttranchal Heroes drew blank from as many matches.
Moonlight Club scored a 5-0 fluent victory over Rohini FC. Atiq drew the first blood in the fourth minute while Filex made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. Uzzan (56th), R. Donald (60th) and Nishant (63rd) were the other scorers.
In a Group A match at the DDA grounds in Jasola Vihar, Cosmos FC were held to a goalless draw by Uttrakhand FC, while Shastri Club defeated Mughals Sports Club 2-0 in Group C. Prithvi opened the account in the 2nd minute while Umed added another in the 50th minute. Shastri have six points from two matches while Mughals still need to open their account.
