Fourteen clubs to vie for top honours
Hosts Employees Provident Fund Organisation will take on Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in the inaugural match of the all India public sector football tournament, that begins at the Ambedkar Stadium in the capital on Thursday. Fourteen clubs will vie for top honours in the eight-day event.
The teams have been divided into four groups. The winners in each group will qualify for the semi-finals to be played on November 6.
The final is scheduled for November 8. The matches will be telecast live on Doordarshan.
