India Colts lose to UAE in friendly

The Indian U-16 football team lost 1-2 to the United Arab Emirates in their second friendly at the Dubai’s FA Stadium, according to information received here. The colts are in the city preparing for the final phase of the AFC U-16 tournament later this month.

In the first friendly, India had defeated the U-17 team of Al Kaleej Academy 4-1.
The hosts took the lead in the 16th minute from a penalty but the Indian boys fought back well to earn the equaliser in the 28th minute through Daniel Lalhlimpuia.
However, the UAE again had the match in control eight minutes later as they went 2-1 up.
