Indian Nat’ls enter Super-Six League
Indian Nationals FC blanked Ajmal FC 3-0 to cruise into the Super-Six League of the DLF-ONGC-SAIL Delhi Soccer Association Annual A division open clubs football league championship in the capital on Tuesday.
For Indian Nationals, the goal-scoers were Kabir (28th mintue), Dhurav (44th) and Sartak (48th). With the win, Indian Nationals now have 16 points from six matches and will play their last group B match against Delhi Cantt, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Friends United.
Delhi Cantt have nine points from six matches, while Friends United have collected six points from as many matches.
Later, Young Sports defeated Bangadarshan 3-0 to brighten their chances for the Super-Six league. Pranjal (8th mintue), Dhurav (10th) and Jatin (56th) help the side earn full points.
Young Sports collected 11 points from six matches, while Bangadarshan have seven points from an equal number of games.
In a Group A match, Garhwal Diamond FC pipped Cosmos FC 1-0. Garhwal Diamond have six points from five matches, while Cosmos trail with one point from five matches.
