Punjab boys edge past IAF

Punjab Heroes and Indian Nationals FC won their respective round robin super- six matches in the DSA football league at the Commonwealth Games Sports Complex in the capital on Sunday.

Punjab Heroes scored a 2-1 win over Indian Air Force, Palam, with goals from Manish Negi and Anuj Pratap Singh.
In another match, Indian Nationals FC registered their second successive win prevailing over a spirited Young Sports by a solitary goal.
Devender scored the winner in the second minute of the game. Nationals now have six points from two matches.
