Golf team for worlds named

A five-strong team of junior golfers including Women’s Tour regular Gurbani Singh, will participate in the Ryo Ishikawaw world junior golf championship in Tokyo from August 1 to 5.

The team, comprising three boys, two girls and two managers, will be sponsored by the government, after the ministry of youth affairs and sports gave the necessary go ahead for their participation, a ministry statement said.

Team: Boys — Aman Raj, Shubhankar Sharma, Abhishekh Kuhar; Girls — Gurbani Singh, Millie Sarohe.
Mangers — Gaurav Ghosh (Boys), Usha Wasan (Girls).
