Gurbani keeps six-shot lead on second day

Aditi Ashok struck back with a fine even-par round of 70 on the second day, but she was still six shots behind defending champion Gurbani Singh at the end of the second round of the Usha West Bengal Ladies Open Amateur Golf Championship in Kolkata on Thursday.

As Aditi carded the day’s best of 70, Gurbani, who had a stunning 64 on the first day, went up to 73 in the second round.
Gurbani leads the field with a total of three-under 137, while Aditi is at three-over 143. Astha Madan (74) stayed in third place with 147 while Sehar Atwal and Millie Saroha were tied fourth after repeating their first round scores of 75 each. They were at 150.
