Simple solutions to pump up the volume

If you’re one of those with thinning hair, don’t panic. Here are some easy solutions that will help you hide the lack of volume and make your tresses look gorgeous:

First, check your hair texture — if you have silky hair, there’s not much you can do other than opting for a smart, blunt cut which will add volume.

If you have hair that’s a little thicker, then go in for highlights. The colour creates an illusion of density.

Don’t go in for partings as this will make your hair fall flat on the sides of your face. Back-comb your hair instead and allow it to fall naturally.

If you have the time, set your hair in soft curls. This looks great and is also simple to do.

For an instant fix, bend your neck down and comb your hair downwards in quick strokes. Now look up again and set it the way you like.
