Canada hold India

The Indian women’s hockey team squandered a one goal lead to play out a 1-1 draw against Canada in their second game of the four-match test series at the Tamanawis Park in Surrey on Friday.

India skipper Surinder Kaur (41st minute) broke the deadlock early in the second half but her Canadian counterpart Stephanie Nesbitt (63rd) drew parity just seven minutes from the hooter to deny the visitors the win and a 2-0 lead in the series, a Hockey India release said.
