‘Action’ says Sanjay

Most producers have a tough time talking about anything other than their forthcoming pet projects, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali is no exception. Sanjay has had a host of money-spinners in Hum Dil de Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Black, but Rowdy Rathore will mark his first ever association with a Bollywood masala film.
An industry analyst observes, “Lovers of hardcore masala films have been talking about Rowdy Rathore ever since its hand-painted posters emerged.”
Sanjay himself is still quite bemused by this turn in his Bollywood career, and quips, “I was dying to see my name on the poster of an action drama. How intriguing, to have a film called ‘Rowdy Rathore’ that says ‘Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’!”
