Audrey wants to be a sailor

The 34-year-old actress Audrey Tautou insists she has no plans to continue with her movie career in the long term because she has other interests outside of her work.
She said, “A few years ago, I thought at 40 I’d stop. Because maybe I would have wanted to do something else. I don’t know. There are so many things that I like apart from my work. Also, and I’m not expecting this, I want to become a sailor.”
Audrey has just begun her training and is hopeful that she can eventually man a craft and sail around the world.
In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, she said, “Like, in five years I will be ready and I will be on my boat around the world. I would love to do that. I would love to cross the Atlantic. It may never happen but I would love to do that. It has been a dream for ages. Sailors, for me, are heroes. Like Ellen MacArthur. That impressed me.”
