Craig paid $1 million for 007 minutes
James Bond star Daniel Craig earned $1 million for a Range Rover appearance at the New York Auto Show that barely lasted 007 minutes.
A guest present in the show complained that the star didn’t even give a speech, the New York Post reported. Another guest fumed that he couldn’t even tell if the Bond was actually there.
Craig was first shown in a video driving the $70,000-plus 2014 Range Rover Sport from the company’s UK manufacturing plant to the city crossing the Manhattan Bridge to get to the red carpet.
He then got out and walked along a line of photographers and guests for a lightning-fast photo session, and without saying a word, he left.
A representative of Land Rover denied any comment on the event but told that the company supported him and his charity.
