Eric to quit touring at the age of 70
Eric Clapton has revealed that he will stop touring after he turns 70.
Clapton, who has been on tour since he started out with his first band The Yardbird in 1963, told Rolling Stone magazine that it’s not the playing that he doesn’t like but the constant travelling, the Daily Express reported.
The Layla guitarist, who will be turning 68 on March 30, added that he won’t stop playing or doing one-offs but will only stop touring.
