Jessica’s crash diet plan revealed
Jessica Simpson has reportedly dropped 60-pounds of baby weight in four months — thanks to her extreme four-month crash diet plan that features low-fat smoothies, protein and plenty of vegetables.
According to TMZ.com, the 15-day smoothie diet consisted of five days of three smoothies a day that gradually worked in snacks and meals, the New York Post reported.
The plan followed the basic Weight Watchers point system and included foods like egg white omelets, chicken, chick peas, and shrimp skewers.
Simpson’s initial attempt at weight loss was ridiculed by some. She drew criticism for her September Weight Watchers commercial because it only featured her face and it appeared as if she wasn’t dropping pounds quickly enough.But looks like the hard work paid off, as Simpson displayed her slim figure during an appearance with younger sister Ashlee’s new clothing line in Tampa, Florida last week.
