Lilo gets special perks behind bars
Lindsay Lohan reportedly has a television in her jail cell. Debra Sickels, a recently released prisoner in contact with other inmates at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, where Lindsay is serving time claims the troubled actress is receiving special treatment.
She told the New York Daily News newspaper, “The girls said they cleaned a special room for Lindsay. It had a regular hospital bed, a TV and a dresser for her new clothes and socks.” It has also been claimed that Lindsay is paying out for even more perks such as special food, new clothes, a female guard and private phone access, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department has denied the actress is being treated differently to other inmates.
A spokesman for the Sheriff’s Department said, “She’s being treated like any other inmate in her classification. There’s no special treatment at all.”
Linsday, who was sentenced to 90 days incarceration for breaching the terms of probation set for her 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) conviction, is already facing criticism after her family were allowed to visit her outside of official visiting hours.
