The 48-year-old actress Jodie Foster, who directed the Oscar-winning star Mel Gibson in new movie The Beaver, explained Mel has been a “loyal friend” ever since the duo bonded over while shooting for Maverick in 1994.
She told AARP The Magazine, “From the moment I met him, there was such a connection that I knew we would be friends for the rest of my life. We’ve had so many conversations about the topics the film explores. He is a brilliant man, a beautiful talent, and a loyal, loyal friend. That’s the man I know.”

Andre to be a zoo keeper
The Behind Closed Doors singer Peter Andre is looking forward to spending the weekend with his children, Junior, five, and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii, whose mother is his ex-wife Katie Price, and has arranged a special treat for them.
Speaking in his New! magazine column, he revealed, “I’m having the kids this weekend and I can’t wait. We’re going to the zoo and I’ve arranged it so we get to be zoo keepers for a day. It should be an experience, to say the least.”
As well as caring for animals, Peter has another venture in the pipeline. He said, “I’m opening my own coffee shop later this year with my brother Danny.”
