Mila keen on global food tour

The Friends with Benefits actress Mila Kunis, who was born in the Ukraine but moved to the US aged seven, is keen to experience as much of the globe as she can in a bid to improve herself. She said, “I hope I can improve myself. I love learning. If I could go to school and just take lectures, I would. But I love the History Channel and Discovery’s Health and Science channels and I love random facts like, where does the phrase, ‘Not my cup of tea,’ come from? I love to travel but when I travel I want to see everything. I love food, so I want to eat my way around every country. All I want to do is eat and walk around.”
The self-deprecating star also admits she regularly makes mistakes, but always hopes to “learn” from them. She added in an interview with Stylist magazine, “Lord knows I make mistakes. I make mistakes daily and you can’t take them back so the only thing you can do is acknowledge them and learn from them and hopefully not make the same mistake again.”

Gibson to pay $750,000 to ex
Actor Mel Gibson will pay his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva $750,000 in order to settle their custody battle over two-year-old daughter Lucia. They were going through a bitter dispute over custody of Lucia and related finances for over a year. However, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Peter Lichtman finally announced the terms of the settlement Wednesday at a hearing which says that the actor will pay the mother of his daughter $750,000, reports contactmusic.com. Another stipulation of the settlement is that Grigorieva will be allowed to live in Gibson’s Californian home until their daughter turns 18.
“Oksana (Grigorieva) and Mel (Gibson) were in love. In love for three years. Lucia was a planned child. Oksana (Grigorieva) settled today because it was in the best interest of Lucia. She is going to concentrate on raising her daughter herself without nannies,” said Grigorieva’s lawyer. —IANS

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
