Reese spends birthday at spa
Reese Witherspoon spends every birthday in the spa. The 34-year-old actress, who has two children, Ava, 11, and Deacon, seven, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, marks her special day in the same way every year, relaxing with a close friend and indulging in her favourite treats.
She said, “Every year on my birthday, I go with my best girlfriend to a spa, get facials and massages, drink Champagne, and eat cake. We’re both moms, so to take four hours out of the day to gossip and catch up is really fun.”
Though Reese takes care of her appearance, she admits she still falls foul of the occasional beauty disaster.
In an interview with the British edition of Glamour magazine, she explained, “I recently dyed my eyebrows for a movie, so I have to pencil them in. It’s a pain, but they look funny if I don’t. Don’t ever dye your eyebrows.”
As well as disliking what her role in Water For Elephants did to her eyebrows, Reese is also recovering from the impact her work has had on her hair.
She said, “I’m enjoying having longer hair again. I cut and dyed it white over the summer for a movie, so I’m taking vitamins and willing it to grow.”
