Swank can’t believe she’s a famous actor

Hilary Swank still can’t believe she is a famous actress.
Despite being an Oscar winner, the Conviction star still finds it odd to think of herself as a Hollywood superstar because in her head she’s still the same person she was growing up.
And she could scarcely believe it when she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007.
She said, “I remember going to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and seeing everyone’s names and the Hollywood sign. To later get my name on the Walk of Fame was a big moment. Really moving.”
Although she finds it hard to think of herself as a famous movie star, Hilary is very grateful for her career and credits her mother Judy for pushing her to be successful.
She said, “Mom called up an agency, which is really rare, and she just said, ‘My daughter’s really beautiful and talented, you should meet her.’ I went and read for a McDonald’s commercial, they signed me up and I was with them for five years.”
