Walsh finds it tough going solo
The 28-year-old beauty Kimberley Walsh admits the band Girls Aloud, comprising herself, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle thinks working as a solo artiste is tougher than being in a group as there is not as much support.
She said, “We’ve still got that support network now, you know. I think that’s why we’ve all stayed pretty balanced, because we’ve got each other. It must be hard doing it on your own.”
Kimberley also admits she feels sorry for George Michael, who was recently found guilty of driving under the influence of drugs after driving his car into a photography shop, and hopes he sorts out his personal problems. She said, “George Michael is a national treasure so to see him in court for crashing his car into a Snappy Snaps while he was affected by drugs was upsetting. Everybody loves him and wants him to do well so let’s hope he sorts things out.”
