Wood’s romance records
The 64-year-old rocker Ronnie Woods and his former Faces bandmate Rod Stewart shared a love of Motown music when they shared a house together and admits the “moving” songs were key to the success of some of their early relationships.
Introducing music on his Absolute Radio show, Ronnie said, “Coming up next I’ve got Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. When I used to live with Rod Stewart back in the old days we used to listen to this album when it first came out and it was a really big influence, along with Sam Cooke and all the records we used to listen to, Otis Redding and all that, Sam and Dave. Marvin and Tammi were very moving, and our first girlfriends, we used to get all romantic and play this song, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, to them.” The Rolling Stones guitarist also revealed his brothers were his biggest influences on his two main interests, music and art. He said, “Ted was the jazzer and Art was the blues-er and R’n’B-er. They were both artists as well as musicians, and if they played, I played, and if they painted, I painted.”

Miley buys a white convertible
The 19-year-old star Miley Cyrus visited a Mercedes Benz dealership in Encino, California, last week and paid cash for a new white 2012 SL550 convertible which goes from 0-60 in just 5.3 seconds.
According to TMZ.com, Miley drove home in her new vehicle, while her bodyguard got behind the wheel of her old car to drive it back to her house. However, Miley, who is dating her Last Song co-star Liam Hemsworth, may not be out driving for a while as the clumsy star has suffered a painful injury at home.
She tweeted: “cracked my tail bone doing a front flip... on to the couch. thats like when i tripped over a pillow and broke my arm. #onlyme (sic)”
Miley is no stranger to fast cars, her first ever vehicle, which she was given when she was just 16 years old, was a Porsche.
