3 arrested with fake notes worth Rs 6.5 lakh
The police on Tuesday arrested three persons and siezed counterfeit Indian currency notes of Rs 6.5 lakh facevalue from them.
The cops have seized fake notes of Rs 1,000, Rs 500 and Rs 100 denominations, a colour printer, a paper cutter, a two wheeler and three cell phones from the possession of the accused.
North Zone Commiss-ioner’s task force inspector L. Raja Venkat Reddy said those who have been arrested are V. Prabhu Chary, 38, a carpenter, Syed Chand Pasha, 28, an autorickshaw driver, both residents of Chinna Gottimukkala, Shi-vampet, and Kammari Raju, 23, a welder from Jinnaram in Medak.
Mr Venkat Reddy said that trio was arrested when they came to Secunderabad near Trivoli theater to hand over the notes to a party.
