3 killed after SUV rams into bike

Three youngsters died on the spot when the bike on which they were travelling was hit by an unknown SUV opposite St Ann’s School at Secunderabad on Saturday night. The deceased Mohammed Khaja Mohinuddin, 19, Sk. Nawaz, 25 and Anil, 25 were the residents of Ambedkar Colony, Balajinagar.

According to eyewitnesses, the trio were travelling on the bike with registration number AP29G2044 at about 10.15 pm when the accident took place. After falling from the bike, they came under the wheels of the vehicle and they died on the spot. The SUV did not stop after hitting them.

Family members of the deceased said that the three of them were on their way home after visiting one of the deceased's brother, Mohammed Aslam who is undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital, after consuming poison on Friday. Gopalpuram police registered a case under Section 304 A and started investigation. Meanwhile, the bodies of the victims were shifted to Gandhi Hospital morgue. One of the victims Khaja Mohinuddin was a welding worker and is survived by his wife and a son. Nawaz was a truck driver and Anil was a butcher, informed the family members of the deceased.
