Police have arrested four foreigners on Thursday — two for selling cocaine, and two others for duping people using fake credit cards. South African national Rosita Miriam Thangavalu, 22, and Ugandan national Patrick Emario, 29, were trapped while trying to sell cocaine near Big Bazaar at Tarnaka on Wednesday night. The Osmania University police seized nine grams of cocaine and Rs 45,000 in cash from them.
Rosita is an LLB student at Osmania University, while Patrick, who resides at Yapral in Ranga Reddy, is unemployed and has been arrested thrice before, for selling cocaine. Police said Kenyan national Stephen Kiya Tira Illula alias Muereria, who is now absconding, was supplying the cocaine to them. Meanwhile, Nigerian nat-ionals Samuel King Hedion, 40, and his fiancee Liatu Baraya Yelmi, 28, were arrested for credit card fraud. Both are residents of Yapral and are unemployed.
