A.K. Khan, Shabbir Ali’s kids to tie knot
Yet another wedding is going to take place between the family of a politician and a police officer. Former minister Shabbir Ali’s daughter Parveen is getting married to Mosin Khan, son of APSRTC managing director A.K. Khan, on September 9. Mr Shabbir Ali told this correspondent that it was an arranged marriage, and the families have known each other for over two decades. “Mr Khan’s father Karim Khan, an IAS officer, worked as managing director of the Minority Corporation when I was minority welfare minister in 1992,” he said.
Parveen, a law graduate from Nalsar University, studied at the prestigious London School of Economics and is going to do a diploma course in International Law at Harvard University in September, after the wedding. Mosin Khan is an engineering graduate who has done his MS in the USA and works as a computer programmer in a company in the USA. Mr A.K. Khan said the families have known each other for a long time. “It is going to be another wedding between families of a politician and police,” he said.
