Auto driver stalks woman, killed
Five persons were arrested on Friday for killing Raju Goud, 27, an autorickshaw driver. His body was set ablaze and abandoned on the banks of Musi river.
According to the Kacheguda police, Raju was stalking one S. Bhanupriya, 27, on her mobile phone for four months. She complained about him to her uncles Redapaka Shyam Raj and Redapaka Balakrishna. They killed Raju on May 5.
“They made Bhanupriya call Raju to her home and killed him. His body was disposed with the help of Kalki Sanjay, 22, and Santurkur Anand, 26,” said Rajan Rathan Kumar, ACP Kacheguda division.
The police said that no complaint was made by Bhanupriya or her husband, an employee in Sony Electronics, regarding Raju’s stalking, before the incident took place.
