Bhanu got arms from Rafeeq of AP armoury

In his additional confession to CID, Gangster Bhanu Kiran has revealed that he obtained arms from one Rafeeq of AP Armoury in Abids, and he along with Jagan’s aide Mangali Krishna were questioned by CBI regarding Paritala Ravi murder in 2005. “After Mangali Krishna went to Kadapa, I was staying in his rented house at Khairatabad. CBI officers raided Mangali Krishna’s house and conducted discreet enquiries about my relationship with him. They served notices to me and Mangali Krishna to appear before them for examination. They asked about our relation with Suri and involvement in Paritala Ravi murder case,” Bhanu told CID officials.

CID sleuths identified one Rafeeq of AP Armoury in Abids who helped Bhanu to get weapons. “In 2006-07, I along with T. Peddireddy came to Hyderabad to find where Dharmavaram Ex MLA T. Suryapratap Reddy deposited his licensed weapons. We visited armour shops, I came in contact with Rafeeq of AP Armoury. I obtained license from Khammam and subsequently Rafeeq helped for transfer of my license from Khammam to Cuttack by paying huge amount of money,” Bhanu told CID. Interestingly, Bhanu was preparing for bank recruitment exams before he started his crime career.
