Bhanu got Rs 20L to settle land deal
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has speeded up the probe against Bhanu Kiran on Monday by grilling several persons including film producer G. Shiva Rama Krishna. In 2006, Shiva Rama Krishna had reportedly approached Bhanu and told him that some money he had invested in seven acres of land in Serilingampally was stuck. When the issue was settled, Shiva Rama Krishna paid Rs 1 crore to Mangali Krishna of Pulivendula and Rs 20 lakh to Bhanu Kiran and Madhu Mohan Reddy. The settlement took place without the knowledge of Suri.
The disputed land claimed by seven persons was purchased by Bharat Constructions. Apart from Shiva Rama Krishna, the CID grilled Srinath Reddy, Mallikarjuna Reddy, Suri’s brother-in-law Rajasekhar Reddy (husband of Hemalatha Reddy) and ‘legend’ Rajasekhar Reddy of Kadapa and Anantapur, in connection with the land dispute settlement.
The CID again grilled Natti Kumar, a film producer in connection with the settlement done by Bhanu in Balaji Color Lab owned by producer C. Kalyan. Meanwhile, a film fighter Sundar filed a complaint with the CID alleging that Natti Kumar threatened him regarding a hand loan (money given without interest) payment. The CID has decided to question Sekhar of Ocean Park regarding another land settlement.
