BJP leader kills wife, brother-in-law, flees

A BJP leader killed his wife and her brother in a drunken brawl after the three got into a heated argument. The incident took place at Kutbiguda in Kacheguda. The deceased was identified as Renuka, 25, and Harish, 21. According to police, at around 8 pm, the accused Ravi Shankar, came home started arguing with Renuka on Saturday.

Ravi used to harass beat Renuka daily. They got married two years ago. Due to the frequent harassment Renuka called her brother Harish and informed him about the same. On Saturday when the couple were having an argument, Harish came home and tried to stop Ravi. This enraged Ravi and he went into the room and took a knife and stabbed them both and escaped.

Ravi is unemployed and used to create a lot of nuisance in a drunken condition. Ravi and Renuka have a four–year-old son The police registered a murder case and is on lookout for Ravi Kumar who is absconding.
