CBI gets Jagan for 2 more days

The AP High Court on Friday granted the CBI two more days of custody of Kadapa MP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in the illegal investments case.

He will be questioned by the CBI on June 9 and 10 from 10.30 am to 5 pm each day.

While hearing the arguments of CBI counsel As-hok Bhan, Justice B. Chandra Kumar asked, “Wh-at is it that you have done for the last 10 months? Every time you say that there are new facts that have come to light, but all the facts which are submitted before the court are already in the FIR.”

The CBI counsel replied saying Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy was evasive and is trying to pass the buck. The CBI has new material with which to confront Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and that is why they have sought extension of custody for two days.”
