CBIT tops the list with the highest fees
While the government has fixed the fees for engineering courses for this academic year, it is yet to fix the fees for the remaining 44 colleges, which had not submitted any affidavits and had approached the AP High Court, which had directed the government to fix a common fee of Rs 50,200 for these colleges. A review petition will be filed on this issue.
The fees for B. Pharmacy courses have also been significantly increased from Rs 31,000 last year. In five Pharmacy colleges, the fees have been fixed ranging from Rs 62,600 to Rs 91,700. In the other 162 colleges, the fee has been fixed at Rs 35,000. While there is no change in Pharm-D fees, which will continue to remain at Rs 68,000, the fees for B.Arch. courses has been increased to Rs 35,000 from Rs 31,000.
Among the 67 colleges, in which differential fees was fixed, CBIT, Hyderabad topped the list with the highest fees of Rs 1,05,000, followed by Vasavi at Rs 98,700. The lowest fee of Rs 51,800 in this category was fixed for SR International Institute of Technology. n Fee in 578 colleges increased from Rs 31,000 to Rs 35,000.

* The fee is applicable to both merit and management quota seats.
* The fees are subject to revision based on reports by task forces to be submitted within three months.
