University vice-chancellor Sunaina Singh said, “We have expelled the student as this kind of acts damage the reputation of the university.”
According to sources, the student fainted on Thursday after being interrogated by cyber crime officials for three long hours in the campus and was rushed to the Kamineni Hospital at L.B. Nagar,
However, he recovered immediately and was sent back to the university hostel on the same day.
The accused Aryan Kumar Singh, a first year B.A. English literature student hailing from Patna, had eight SIM cards and had allegedly send six ‘vulgar messages’ to his French lecturer since September 24.
