Exam fee payment issue solved: OU
Students aspiring for PG Engineering Common Entrance Test, which is being conducted by the Osmania University, are in a fix with the university failing to make necessary arrangements for candidates to pay exam fee at e-Seva and AP Online centres.
While students were asked to pay the fee either at e-Seva centres or AP Online centres, the staff at most of these centres refuse to accept the fee saying that they have no instructions from OU to do so. The students are running from pillar to post to pay the fees before the fast approaching deadline of April 23.
“I had to run to several e-Seva centres and AP Online centres to pay the fee. The staff present there refused to accept the fees saying that they had no instructions to accepting the fee,” said P. Avinash, a student who resides in A.S. Rao Nagar. Students also complained that none of the e-Seva and AP Online centres located in A.S. Rao Nagar, Mehdipatnam, Tarnaka, Secunderabad, Amberpet, Himayathnagar accepted the fees. However, the OU officials, while admitting that they have received such complaints, said that the issue has now been resolved and students can pay the fees without any difficulty at e-Seva and AP Online centres.
