Flash Protest in Secretariat against curbs

Telangana employees in the Secretariat on Monday organised a flash demonstration in front of C Block, where Chief Minister’s Office is located, violating prohibitory orders. The T-employees demanded that the government immediately withdraw Section 144 within the Secretariat premises. The Telangana Secretar-iat Employees JAC, led by Narender and Suresh Kumar, submitted a memorandum to chief secretary Minnie Mathew in this regard.

Violating the prohibitory orders, the employees raised slogans and squatted before the C Block where, for the first time, a huge board was erected by police explaining about the prohibitory orders. The T-employees’ leaders termed the orders as “oppression against employees” and threatened to launch an agitation in a phased manner if the government did not stop the “oppression”.
