J-firms seek a/c defreeze

A special court, while dismissing a petition filed by Jagati Publication, Indira Television Ltd and Janani Infrastructure Ltd, owned by YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Monday agreed with the CBI counsel who contended that it was in the interest of the state and to safeguard the state’s interest that it had to freeze their accounts.

Counsel for Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s companies said that the order would be challenged in the HC.
He argued that the accounts should be unfrozen because these particular accounts were revenue generators and revenue expenditure accounts.
