Jagan firms file caveat petitions
Kadapa MP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s companies on Saturday filed caveat petitions in the city civil court at Purana Haveli and the CBI principal special judge court at Nampally, Hyderabad, requesting the court to put them on notice and hear their version before issuing an attachment order.
The Jagati Publications, the Janani Infrastructure and the Indira Television filed the caveats regarding the attachment GOs issued by state home department authorising CBI SP H. Venkatesh to file an application in the court seeking an attachment of the properties. Elsewhere industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and Brahmananda Reddy were grilled for the second day in CBI custody. Due to power cuts at Dilkusha, they were shifted to the CBI Koti office. Prasad was questioned regarding his investments in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s firms and on the technical aspects of Vanpic project. Meanwhile representatives of Bharathi Cement appeared before CBI and were questioned regarding investments.
