KCR explains his silence, gets TNGOs’ backing
Stating that he had been silent on the Prime Minister's request for a peaceful environment, TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao said, “A section of the media is worried about why I am silent. They find that something is brewing since (PCC president) Botsa Satyanarayana said there is nothing wrong in having two Telugu speaking states. They wanted to create a controversy.
When I said I had received signals from the Centre on Telangana, the (TV) channel said it had not received any such signals. I get the signal, not the channel.” Mr Rao was addressing a felicitation function to give a send-off to ex-TNGOs leader Swami Goud and to welcome new TNGOs president Devi Prasad Rao, general secretary Ravinder Reddy and his team at Ravindra Bharati here. The TNGO announced that it was ready to jump into the T-movement again while political leaders said that a T-state could be achieved if there was unity.
