Kiran says, For Jagan, politics is business
Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday launched a vitriolic attack on YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, targeting his approach to politics. The CM said at a public meeting here, “In Jagan’s view, there is very little difference between politics and business, and therefore he was pursuing politics in a similar manner as his business.”
He alleged that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy had amassed huge wealth, with self interest alone being his motive and not the interests of the public. Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy alleged the Kadapa MP had adopted illegal means during his two-year tenure as a Member of Parliament to build a palatial house and was flaunting his ill-gotten wealth in a disgusting manner.
The CM wondered what message he wanted to give to the people or his followers for the public did not figure anywhere in Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy's agenda. He further remarked that the MP had asked his followers to quit their Assembly seats with no apparent reason, his followers too remaining in the dark about this.
