Man dies as wall crashes on him

A 52-year-old construction worker died after part of a compound wall he was dismantling came crashing down on him.

Vanasthalipuram sub inspector B. Raju said the deceased was identified as Jarupula Bhiksha Naik, a native of Pratap Nagar thanda in Dindi mandal of Nalgonda district.

The owner of the house in FCI colony in Vanasthalipuram, Mr Srikanthapuram Rama-krishna Rao, had engaged Bhiksha Naik to dismantle the compound wall.

The police have registered a case against the owner under section 304A of the IPC (causing death by negligence).
