Mob attacks Gabbar Singh producer

Gabbar Singh film producer Bandla Ganesh Babu was beaten up by the locals when his speeding Scorpio rammed into a roadside restaurant, injuring one man seriously, in Manchal under Cyberabad limits at 9pm on Wednesday. Mr Babu was on his way to Hyderabad from Guntur. Manchal inspector T. Venugopala Swamy said that the Scorpio went out of control, hitting a man near Agipally. Dabikar Narsoji, 49, the victim, runs a chicken shop.

The thatched roof of the restaurant, tables and other furniture were damaged in the accident. Enraged over the accident, six to 10 persons beat up the producer and his driver. Mr Babu was admitted to a hospital for treatment. The police took driver Srisailam into custody and registered a case against him under Section 337 of the IPC.
