Naidu to do a YSR with a 122-km yatra

In an attempt to change the party’s fortunes in the 2014 elections, Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to hit the road with a 117-day long padayatra from October 2 to January 26, like the late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.

He has chosen Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) to start the walk to expose the lack of governance in the state, the misdeeds of the YSR and Kiran Kumar Reddy governments, the loot of state resources and administrative failure in handling issues such as power, which has badly affected domestic and industrial users, and the Telangana issue.
