Man beaten to death by in-laws in Shivajinagar
In a shocking incident, a 28-year old man was beaten to death by his in-laws in Shivajinagar. The deceased has been identified as K. Ramesh, son of K. Narayana, resident of Rajannabowli, Shivajinagar. According to Chatrinaka police inspector N. Shyam Prasad Rao, Ramesh was attacked by his brothers-in-law, Prasad, Naresh and Sateesh, along with his father-in-law Ramesh, alias Sunkanna and mother-in-law Radha. The attack followed a family dispute.
According to his in-laws, Ramesh used to harass his wife Swathi and in-laws ever since he married her four years back. The fact that Swathi was pregnant made no deterrence to him and that seemed to be the main reason for the attack. Ramesh received severe head injuries and was rushed to Osmania General Hospital by neighbours. He succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Thursday. The police have registered a case of murder against Ramesh’s in-laws. No arrests have been made so far. “We were busy with the investigations and post mortem. We will make the arrests tomorrow,” the police official said.
