Revenue officials of Ranga Reddy district appeared before the CBI in Kadapa MP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s disproportionate assets case. The CBI sought several details regarding allotments during YSR's regime.
The CBI officials have speeded up the probe in the case and are likely to take a crucial decision soon. As byelections have concluded in seven Assembly constituencies, the case is likely to take a big turn soon, sources said. Meanwhile, the CBI has collected thousands of pages of documents linked to the irregularities in the government orders and investments into Jagan Mohan Reddy’s firms as an alleged quid pro quo arrangement.
