Schoolkid falls out from auto, killed

An eight-year-old boy, R. Uday, the son of one R. Ramesh and a Class 3 student of Sai Dhamam School in Bommalaramaram, Nalgonda died when he fell out from an autorickshaw on Saturday. Uday was traveling in an autorikshaw on his way back home from school, and fell out while the driver was negotiating a pothole on the road. The boy sustained severe head injuries. After firstaid at a nearby clinic, he was rushed to the Gandhi Hospital. “Based on a complaint from the father, we have registered a case under Section 304A against the driver, M Papaiah, for rash driving,” said sub-inspector N. Rajesh.
