Teacher says sorry to Shiva’s parents

J. Veerabhadraiah, the teac-her who reportedly hit Ko-neru Shiva, has promised to pay for the medical treatment of the Class IV student and has also apologi-sed to the parents.

Kurnool district education officer Buchanna said severe action will be taken against the teacher after he gets the report. “This is not a tolerable incident,” he observed.

Mandal education officer Mohinuddin summoned the headmaster and teacher of the school on Monday. The accused teacher is absconding since Saturday, sources said.

Police said no complaint has been received against the teacher till now.
