Uncertainty will continue till 2014

Leaders of almost all parties have openly stated that until a final decision is announced on Telangana, the uncertainty which has been there for the last three years will continue till the 2014 elections.

“It is the only issue pending finalisation and due to this there has been political uncertainty all over the state, I am hopeful a decision will be announced in November to end the crisis,” Congress MP Laga-dapati Rajagopal said.

The five-member committee comprises Ghulam Nabi Azad, Vayalar Ravi, Sushil Kumar Shinde, P. Chidamb-aram and A.K. Antony.

As reported earlier, the status of Hyderabad is a major bottleneck to arrive at a decision.

As the elections to both the Lok Sabha and AP Asse-mbly are just 16 months away, the Congress leadership seems to have come to a conclusion that the Telangana problem should not be allowed to fester.
